As reported by journalist Gerard Romero in RAC-1, Martin Braithwaite’s agent, Ali Dursun, is already in Barcelona in case the Barça club definitively activates the signing and he is the chosen one. Mundo Deportivo advanced on Monday that Brainthwaite was the cover and although Leganés has no news of the club’s movements, the presence of Dursun, also an agent of Frenkie De Jong, is significant. Barça has decided not to stretch beyond this Tuesday the decision to sign or not. In principle, there is a quorum between Setién and the technical secretariat, commanded by Eric Abidal and Ramon Planes. Everyone agrees to sign, but Barça’s economic straits and the special characteristics of the signing (a player who can only be from LaLiga and who cannot play Champions) condition the decision. What none of the parties involved want is for the decision to take longer. Setién has said that it is “preferable” to sign because another injury would leave Barça in the open.
