He racked up just 32 yards while backing up Adrian Peterson and Chris Thompson.He made a few starts late in the 2017 season, and wound up with 603 yards and a touchdown on the ground, and another 182 yards and one score through the air.Perine suffered an ankle injury in the preseason before the 2018 season which prompted the team to sign Peterson.
